Chuck Matthews founded the Matthews Fan company in his hometown of Chicago in 1992. Matthews' goal is to build visually appealing and superbly functioning ceiling and wall fans with an identifiable personality. Matthews-Gerbar fans are distinctively handmade in Brazil while the Atlas fans are assembled in the USA with American parts & labor.
